- 中文說明:肚兜為中國幼兒及婦女穿用的內衣，也是新娘重要的嫁妝，台灣肚兜的特色，是是先將各刺繡圖案繡製在小布片上，再組合加縫於主體的菱形布片上，本件以黑地盤金繡法為主，繡製精美的蝙蝠、牡丹、蝴蝶、迴字紋等為構圖。
- 日文說明:幼児または婦女の腹掛けは、花嫁の嫁入り道具の主な一つ。その特色はまず刺繍する図案を小布の上に刺繍し、それを組み合わせて主体の菱形布に縫いつける。この品は黒地盤金繍法を主とした繍製法で蝙蝠、牡丹、蝴蝶、廻字紋などの構図で造ったもの。
- 英文說明:Halter tops were worn by Chinese women and children as undergarments and were an important part of a brides dowry. Taiwan’s halter tops were distinctive in that small pieces of fabric were first embroidered with various designs, then sewn onto the main diamond-shaped cloth. This example, gold-coiled stitching on black, is embroidered with exquisite bats, peonies, butterflies, and special stitching.
